This butte sort of reminded me of a buddha in a sitting position.  The rock in front looks like a computer monitor and the smaller rock on top looks like a webcam!  Alternatively it also looks similar to a huge monkey with a hat on, You can actually make out the eyes, ears and mouth on this one.

Valley of the Gods is choke full of interesting and bizarre rock formations.  You can easily spend a whole day driving and walking amongst the 'gods'.  A road that goes right through the park is not paved and very slick after rains but otherwise passable with any car.

There are wonderful campsites up above on the cliffs that you can reach via road 261.
