Owachomo Bridge: A photo taken from the trail that comes down from the paved loop road.

This is also the trail that heads out of the canyon after the wonderful 8.6 mile loop trail that connects all three bridges, following the canyon bottoms for most of its length, then returning via the mesa top.   Well worth the time, the park estimates 6 hours but you can do it in 4 and still have plenty of time to spare for photo stops.

This bridge is located in a canyon in Natural Bridges National Monument about 20 miles to the northwest of Cedar Mesa.

When I went a thunderstorm passed overhead and lightening was striking the canyon rim.  It was utterly amazing and the sound of the thunder really "rolled" along the canyon bottom.
